I've been having trouble getting into the whole blogging thing again. I search my brain for ideas, and I come up with nothing. There is absolutely nothing there. I feel like
Is it weird that my son has taken to riding his big wheel in my 1970's carpeted hallways?
Does this happen to anyone else? I hope everything will be okay!

If your twin nieces from Britain suddenly show up to stay... um... then I suggest you pack your bags.
HAHAH!! I guess you just have to be worried if Jack Nicholson comes up to you and says "Gimme the bat!!" :)
@jenn-Good idea! I'm packing my bags now just in case!
@smithjennife-LOL! "Gimme the bat!" I'm still laughing!
"I'm not gonna hurt you, Wendy! I'm just gonna bashing your f*&^ing brains in!"
Have you cut back on your alcohol consumption? I find massive doses of it often lead to blog worthy posts.
I'm not seeing Nicholson, I'm seeing Austin Powers with fur. Lots of fur.
@da old man-That'll teach me to stop drinking!
@prefers-I'll go with that!
I think we need to start a collection fund for the updating of your decor. ;-)
Yes, alcohol does help. Unfortunately, the amount of alcohol consumed is directly related to the number of spelling and grammar errors that are actually caught prior to publishing a post.
It's like a scene from a 70s mobster movie. I think I saw this one. It was Scorcese, but I don't remember which one it was.
But in answer to your question, the short answer: No.
The longer answer: No, never. I mean, just look at my blog. ;)
Your hallway is the size of my house. Can I move into your hallway, I promise I'll just sleep in the corner.
Who cares that you don't have any ideas for a post - I'm all distracted and impressed by that slide show you got going on in your sidebar over there and that will keep me amused for a like a week of visits...
so relax and put down the axe...
@reforming-You don't like my orange/rust/brown nightmare carpeting?
@unfinished-It is an obscure film reference!
@cameron-as long as you don't snore!
That's a deal breaker for me.
@lee-Thanks for talking me down!
That is terrifying.
just be sure to tell us if you start partying with ghosts/imaginary people.
Hmmmm - red rum.
I'm suddenly in the mood for a hot toddy.
For not being inspired, you had me giggling!!
Im feeling the same way. But for me its actually that I have plenty of ideas its just that I dont have the energy to blog. Im thinking about throwing up my blogging hat for a while and closing shop for a bit until I get that itch again. What do you think? Hope you had a good Thanksgiving.
buzz buzz
Don't worry, I have writer's block about once a week and I think I am never going to write anything remotely interesting ever again. But then I do (at least I think I do...)
Redrum, redrum, redrum. Awesome. Have a great day. :)
I'm like Fly in that I've got TONS of ideas. I never run out. Most of mine suck, though. So, no help from 93% of them. I lack the gumption also. If you have some extra gumption, I'll trade you for some of my non-sucky ideas?...Nevermind. I have no idea how that would even work. I'm not even sure it's doable. It may require a doctor or something. Probably a bad idea.
@father muskrat-Tell me about it!
@chat blanc-But how do I know if they're imaginary!
@eudea-Thanks! redrum, right back atcha!
@the fly-Don't leave us!! You need to take off a week and regroup!!
@petra-Good! Maybe there is still hope for me.
@sandee-Thanks! You too!
@lucy-Good idea though!
I feel so clueless. I definitely missed the reference. My wife would be proud...since she's always saying I missed the '80s. Oh, well.
Its funny because my wife Wendy smashed me in the face with a bat as I rode my big wheel down the hallway. What a coincidence!! Now its time to type. LOL
RED RUM!!! AHHHHH!!!!!
Perhaps you need a Cosmo?
My word verification is: string
Redrum, redrum...... Hereeeee's Johnny-- Hi honey, I'm home!! he-he!!
You know that movie is one of my all time favorite scary movies. That one and Salem's Lot.
@king-lol! That Wendy!! :)
@random-That sounds like a good idea!
@melissa-Mine too!
Pick up an axe. Something will come to you.
It totally happens to me. I wish I had a big wheel to ride in your hallways, too, because I think that would help me.
A lot.
Hang in there...you'll be back in the saddle before you know it...
